Omega 3::New Study

Omega 3 has become popular for its ability to reduce the risk of heart disease. An article in today's Personal Journal section of the WSJ, discussed worldwide scientific studies of Omega 3's potential for treating other serious conditions including Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy and rheumatoid arthritis. This seems logical since it's main benefit is to reduce inflammation.
More research is needed,  but the scientists believe that the results of the studies will provide insight that can help develop new medicines to treat disease. I'd rather boost my intake now and eat the proper foods, wouldn't you?

Omega 3 naturally occurs in the following foods:
Fish: Salmon, Mackerel, Sardines
Fruit: Kiwi
Grains: Flaxseed

Try one of my favorite luncheon salads: Mixed organic greens with kiwi, sardines, avocado and walnuts.
For the dressing: I make a light mustard vinaigrette dressing using Body Ami Pomegranate Honey, Organic Olive Oil, a touch of honey mustard.
